Got this guy a while ago (2 of them actually, but this one looks a little thirstier), and I repotted into lava rocks and perlite with just enough of those pink top dressing rocks to keep the perlite down. I was told to post a picture here and ask before watering, lol. It hasn’t looked thirsty until now. But I’m not sure if it’s thirsty enough, and I really don’t want to kill it. Any help would be very much appreciated!

This is the other one. Doesn’t look so thirsty, but looks about the same as the other one did a few days ago.
I’d suggest you remove the rocks ,so you can take a good look at the soil and see how you go from there.
I’d highly suggest that you keep your waterings to the minimum, pour a little bit of water when your soil bone dry.
Lithops are desert plants so they don’t really need that much water as you may think.
My opinion: the planter is much too big for the dimensions of the lithop. This makes watering more difficult. And the colorful stones are a visual obstacle. In order to be able to assess the soil more precisely for dryness.
Are the sides wrinkled? If it looks like the attached pict I’d give it a squirt of water at the base. If not then I’d let it go a while.
