    They look like broad beans (aka fava beans) to me, yes.

    FYI, fava leaves can be used as greens just like spinach or other leafy vegetables. You can put them raw in a salad or stir fry them or use in any recipe. Delicious and nutritious.

    Is aus zone 4 like usda growing zone 4? Its gotta be something else, but i am confused.
