Hi, my name is Brooke. Welcome to my Somehow the garden survived my first trimester garden tour. This 16 ft bed of potatoes looks lovely. Until you get closer, because when you get closer, you realize I’m just growing a patch of oregano and a patch of grass. Don’t ever say I wasn’t into native plants. Oh, and this bed of deliciously sweet candy garden onions and weeds. Bet you didn’t even know that was hiding in there, did you? This is what I call nature’s mulch. It’s when you literally don’t pull any weeds. You don’t put any mulch down and you just hope for the best cuz you’re hanging on by a thread. And somehow, despite me thinking roses were going to be a difficult endeavor, have been the easiest, lowest maintenance thing in my garden this year. I’ve only gotten poked five times from not wearing my gloves. I think I almost just snorted a bug. And do you notice anything anything at all about this row of sauce tomatoes? Like the fact that this one won’t just stand up on its [ __ ] ladder. This is what happens when you don’t keep up in a fast-paced environment. Seriously, I didn’t know they were this easy. It’s gorgeous. This is one of my pride and joys in the garden. It’s a peach tree. This has been the only year that I haven’t sprayed any of my fruit trees because, well, I was avoiding the smell of salmon and garlic like my life depended on it because it kind of did, you know. But then my peach trees got a pest. And now I get no peaches. Oh, and these beautiful white snapdragons. They were supposed to bloom six months ago for my wedding. Clearly, they’re a little late.
