He is browning and wilting a bit. He is an indoor plant, doesn't get much sunlight and is watered every Sunday. He was bought from a grocery store so I'm unsure of the type of soil he needs to thrive. Any advice and info is appreciated!

It’s a philodendron, maybe Philodendron pinnatifidum?
I have one, and mine does not like direct sun, appreciates bright indirect light. I have a grow light on it as it’s not in a super bright spot in my house. Watering when dry and is not a drama queen.
I would guess yours is reacting to too much sun, but it’s just a guess. Mine got yellow leavea like that when it got morning sun on my porch this summer.
Check for pests that could also be causing the leaf die off.
And that looks of the leaves it seems it needs watering less frequently, and more light.
Also, even taking a plant outdoors for a few minutes can sometimes cause nasty damage to the foliage.
Could it be his roots are becoming a bit cramped and he’s needing a bigger pot?
