Do I cut off the flower spike?


This plant already put out the flowers and seeds, and has remained looking like this for a couple months. Am I supposed to cut back the flower thing? Or leave it? Bonus pic of its current receptacle.

    I leave mine until they die off naturally. Just leave it. if it’s been green all this time that’s actually some sort of miracle.
