I need some help. I am 100% new to owning a fiddle leaf fig and don’t know where to start caring for this guy. I have a pot I can put it in, but would need to drill drain holes and buy a drainage catch for it to stay in my house.
What leaves should prune? Is it already dead? Help!!

What I would do is put it in a nice soil mix that is well draining with perlite and bark and cut them all about half way down and lose all the leaves. Then I’d put it in the brightest possible window and give it some time to regrow.
Do exactly what Appropriate said to do!!
Appropriate is right, did this to a flf this summer and cut back to a stick and it’s branching and so many leaves coming out.
