First attempt this year it was early summer. Was successful. Trying for more. Barely getting ANY little action in the cup. Is it because it is colder temperature and less warm sun coming through window. I moved them to kitchen counter for the cabinet LED light, but the quartz counter is cold too.

I was hoping to grow some more from the 25+ year old mother plant to make several pots as gifts for 7 nieces and nephews for Christmas. It it their grandmother’s plant.

Does colder temperatures mean slow growing? Would you recommend a grow light or heated pad?

They go dormant in the cold. Maybe some root development will occur, but highly doubt new top growth will happen. Dragon fruit grows with warmth/heat/sun light

Yes you are correct in thinking cooler temps & the less light that comes during winter are aiding in the slower growth. They would definitely benefit from having a grow light that will provide more light & some warmth

Yes to both. Those two always help with all props.

Since you have so many id suggest doing some in soil. They have rooted well in either medium for me. Soil can be easier and more forgiving
