Some time ago I made a post here asking if it's a good idea to put hoya spp in a terrarium. Most people seemed to agree that I should at least try it, so I did!
Today I visited an exotic animal expo and found a first proper animal inhabitant for my terrarium. It's a dart frog froglet, specifically a Dendrobates azureus. The first thing it did was to jump on my hoya carnosa leaf and chill there.
It's been a few months now since I started the terrarium and the plant is growing steadily! It popped out a couple of giant leafs and made the terrarium feel much more lush. Outside of my ficus pumila and silver pothos, hoya carnosa is probably my best growing tropical plant 🙂
