Hi everybody!
We're super tempted to start growing our own herbs and small things like basil, thyme, parsley, etc. and after doing some proper googling we found these types of hydroponic units and would fit our space and needs.
Now it's far from the only model out there, and a lot of them "look the same" which tells me it could be one OEM making a bunch of brands on demand.
So what would be a good trustworthy brand to invest in? Also is there a guide you would recommend to get going with these? I find there is a lot of "sponsored noise" out there from "review sites" which graciously offer an Amazon link.
Once you get the unit, if it preferred to get the supplies from the unit vendor (yes I know I'm kinda getting a subscription here) or you can get stuff locally like seeds and nutrients?

PS: I've never grown anything in my life, and failed at lawn maintenance too. If it does not have a USB port I'm not good with it 😁
