I’ve had this beautiful plant since the spring & it’s been growing bigger & bigger leaves. Great light, good soil – all the things. Butttt… no fenestrations 🥴 I keep hoping with each new leaf, but nothing. Is this normal?

It sits in front of my 4 ft long vertical Barrina grow light 14 hours a day. That’s why I’m stumped.

(Pic not taken in its normal spot as I was moving it to water)

Download yourself a light meter measuring app and assess how much your plant it actually gets. Whatever other light sources you have besides the barrina light, your plant is facing her leaves upwards, so that main source your monstera cares for is some top light/skylight

Mine didn’t fenestrate until it’s 7th or 8th leaf so don’t give up hope!

how far is it from the light? light intensity decreases with the square of distance so a few inches can make a huge difference. you dont have much variegation on the leaves which also indicates low light

Definitely light, youve got a good light but its almost definitely too far away and as such the intensity is far lower than youre probably thinking and/or expecting. Download a cheap phone light meter itll give you a rough idea
