I live in zone 5a so I am wondering if I can have them growing outside during winter. I am already planing on mulching them so I wonder if it is enough. I ordered it with other carnivorous plants for a bog garden.
They will die back to their roots and more than likely come back in the spring. This one stays outside year-round and was frozen solid for two weeks this past winter. If you are mulching them in an in-ground bog they will probably be fine in zone 5a. But you can grow them year-round indoors, too.

No, you should bring them inside.
