The Lady Eagles win their first District Final volleyball match in over 5 years with a 4-1 win over St. Mary’s Saturday afternoon in the D2-6 final.

OSHKOSH – The Lady Eagles win their first District Final volleyball match in over 5 years with a 4-1 win over St. Mary’s Saturday afternoon in the D2-6 final.
Junior Kirstyn Beberniss led the way for Garden County racking up 15 kills, 16 assists, 4 blocks and a pair of aces. Senior Ridglyn Stanczyk finished with a team high of kills with 17 along with 17 assists, 3 blocks and an ace serve.
Junior Kelbi Cooper added a staggering 5 blocks and 2 kills.
Garden County will finish the game with 46 kills on 36 assists, 15 blocks and 3 ace serves.
The Lady Cardinals were led by senior Gracie Williamson who finished with a game high of 27 kills and 2 blocks.
Freshman Tatum Ickes added 13 kills and a block and ace. Junior Adyson Petersen was the main setter with 41 assists with a pair of kills and an ace.
St. Mary’s finished the match with 43 kills on 41 assists, 8 blocks and added 4 ace serves.
The Lady Eagles will advance to the D2 State Tournament in Lincoln happening November 6-8 and advances to 30-3. St. Mary’s will finish their season with a record of 25-7.
