Sir Walter buffalo, one week in. How are we doing?

Had yard returfed 7 days ago, been watering with hose 20-30 mins in early morning and late afternoon every day. Would love any tips on how to make sure it takes, and any indication of how is going!? Or is it too early to tell? I've read the yellowing around edges is expected, is that right?

Landscaper just said water, water, water so I'm following instructions religiously 🙂
