Hi everyone. New here. I actually have 2 questions.
1 – is this a monstera? It has been clipped and propagated many times from a plant my grandmother had in the 60’s/70’s. Everyone called it a split leaf philodendron (which after research I think is really a monstera?).
2- The one with the most growth doesn’t have any fenestrations. Will it ever get them? I have 4 of these total, of various stages of growth and only 2 of them have splits.
I’m new to houseplants and totally clueless.
Thank you in advance 🙂

yes a monstera! they get splits or fenestrations from maturity and proper lighting.
Yes, monstera. It can get fenestrations if given enough light to mature more. These are tropical plants so they love sunlight, and the one in your third pic looks like it needs more sun because the leaves are spaced far apart.
It’s a monstera. The more light and support you give it, the quicker it’ll grow and fenestrate.
Can you take a close up picture of the white spots on the leaf that is below your hand in the first pic? It looks like you might have a pest, but it’s not clear enough when I zoom in on it.
