New leaf on my monstera – check out these fenestrations! πŸ§€πŸ€©


Hey everyone! 🌱

I’ve been growing monsteras indoors for a while, but this is my first one planted outdoors (NW-facing with partial shading in my front yard in SWFL). I occasionally feed it with EarthPods Plant Food, but otherwise just let it do its thing.

I typically use a mixture of organic soil (Foxfarm), orchid bark, perlite (fertilizer), charcoal (filtration), leca (aeration and water absorption), and moss pole.

I’m excited to see how this new leaf unfurls – it’s by far the most fenestrations I’ve ever seen on any of my plants. I’m honestly blown away by how happy it seems out here! 🌱
