Hi, I’m treating a plant with Mealybugs. I decided to try lady bug larvae. I put some on the plant and have now noticed this…mould? Growing on the top of the soil. It’s happening to another plant with the lady bug larvae too. All my other plants are fine.

The plants are doing okay considering they’re undergoing pest control. The mealy bugs weren’t severe at all. I haven’t watered either plant in around 8-10 days. They’re both getting pretty bright indirect light, 1 meter away from a window, and good airflow.

Yeah it looks like mold. Let the soil dry out

It’s a type of mold as the soil is incredibly wet. It’s not harmful, but might be worth letting the soil dry out a little
