The leaves are waxy, stiff, and heavy. Not clear what the growth habit is supposed to be, as it doesn’t look like it’s really developing a stem that’s going to be strong enough to support its weight… we were using a toothpick to help support it for awhile but now I’m not sure if that’s what it wants.
Also I’m pretty sure the white specks are part of the leaf as opposed to some disease on it. Seek/ iNaturalist has not been helpful with this one though, which is surprising as the leaf seems pretty distinctive with that pattern.
