Nashville TN. Looks to me like Wild Garlic. What’s the best way to fight it? Dig it out or put more herbicides eventually? Just sprayed Triad TZ Select 2 weeks ago and it’s working on everything else despite 2,4,d being a way to kill this. I’ve got maybe 15 little spots like this.

Over-seeded 2 months ago and it looked great and didn’t have this stuff. (Currently recovering from some mild herbicide burn)

Digging it out, and you need to be diligent. It stores a *lot* of energy in the bulb so if you don’t dig out the bulb, it just regrows.

FYI ortho nutsedge killer eats that stuff up.

I used trimec and non ionic surfactant. and make sure you smush it with your foot first to break up the waxy coating.

I got it too in my new lawn. Only a couple spots for me, could be worse
