What is your secret? My wife has spent 5 years trying to get her Christmas Cactus to bloom.

I cannot show her this beautiful plant because she will be saddened by her lack of success.

Wowwww mine 3 years has never bloomed and am sad too. It has barely grown. No idea what I’m doing wrong. I’m in 7b, I have it in a low light room and it’s cool here nights now.

I have 3 from my Mother. They stay outside all Summer and mid October they come inside. 2 bloom and the 3rd doesn’t.

This year, the flower buds started when they were outside and are flowering now. 1 plant had white flowers at first but now has both white and pink in the same plant.

The other has lovely pink and white combo flowers.

I think this is a Thanksgiving Cactus. Christmas Cactus has scalloped edges and Thanksgiving Cactus has jagged edges. I thought I bought a Christmas Cactus and it ended up being a Thanksgiving Cactus.

Mine is flowering early too! No open flowers just yet and mine is a baby plant but it looks to be about 5-6 flowers budding
