it intrigues me how they grew up and then at some point they bent in towards the road for a while and then resuming growing straight up again.. what do you suppose caused that to happen?
they appear quite old.

I don’t think that’s a type of tree. I think that is because of the location. I’ve only seen this once before in my life, and it was because the trees were on and surrounding an actual vortex… look up the Oregon vortex.
