All of these fruits are from the same tree in my backyard. I have no idea what it is. They start off as green fruits and then they turn yellow/orange. Their smell is citrusy but it doesn’t really lean lemony or limey or orangey. Just citrus. When green, they are very sour. At the yellow stage, they are a little less sour and maybe ever so slightly sweet. The tree is covered with long sharp thorns. It’s kinda hard to pick them because of the thorns. I want to know what they are so I can use them to cook. Any ideas?

Yuzu? I mean it fit the flavor and harvested in oct until the start of winter.
