Easy DIY Spray to help Repel Wasps. Spray once and Re-apply as necessary!

is it just me or do sometimes wasps like to get a little too close to your house we do need and want wasps in our garden because they are predatory insects and they help deter other pesky pests but because our garden is so close to our house sometimes they can pester our kids a little bit here’s a quick easy spray that you can create at your home to help repel the Wasps from going too close to your house I like to spray this around my doors around my wood deck even the eaves of my house to prevent them from starting a nest there one very important thing to remember about this wasp repellent is that it is not meant to kill wasps so I would not recommend spraying this on an active wasp nest it just repels them from areas that you want to be in it’s only made up of three things D diso peppermint don’t tell my wife water

  1. Bless you, and bless the Google algorithm for overhearing me talk with my kid half an hour ago about the wasp nest on her window!

  2. I’ve done this (minus the Dawn) for years on our shed. Used to get one or two nests building every year – sometimes even inside – now they stay away. Peppermint oil is the secret sauce!

  3. I have a humming bird feeder and I’m worried about the wasps that occupy it now. Google gives me mixed messages. It says peppermint can attract them but it also says it repels them based on the species. I live in southern Arizona for reference. I’m worried that if I put the feeder back up and spray it with peppermint solution, that the wasps will just be attracted to it or even yellow jackets or other insects. I don’t want them building a nest. I just want to see my bird friends but idk what to do. Should I risk it?? I also saw a wasp get into a fight with a humming bird and the wasp won.
