Your money tree is specifically a false aralia! Mine is a diva too. In my experience, they like to dry out just a tad in between waterings, don’t like bright light, and don’t like being moved. I also battled spider mites on mine for a while.
But after learning what she likes, mines somewhat happy now lol

Mine did that while stressed, it bounced back. So just make sure to water appropriately, check for pests and it’ll should be fine. Fall/winter likes to upset them too. Very dramatic plants but I’ve had mine 8 years or so now, it’s survived every tantrum.
