Looks like maybe a buckeye of some type. I had an ohio buckeye that seeds like that when i was growing up

    #DO NOT EAT!

    Buckeyes/horse chestnuts. Poisonous.

But chocolate covered peanutbutter “buckeyes” are delicious.

  3. They are conkers, buckeye, also known as horse chestnuts. Not recommended for human consumption.

If you find these nuts, and their parent tree has palmate leaves (leaflets fanning out from a central point), it’s a buckeye/horsechestnut (Aesculus genus). True chestnuts have simple leaves like an oak.

Conkers, a staple of playground games this time of year

I figured they weren’t edible, was just making sure. Thanks everyone

Buckeyes. Carry one for good luck and to keep arthritis away.

  8. They’re buckeyes. Don’t eat them. They have awesome oils and make cool looking decorations though

You can make detergent out of these but don’t eat them.
