We love our monstera and it’s been growing up this wall for awhile now and we’d love to keep it growing up. Any suggestions on what we can do to make sure it keeps growing and stays healthy. It clearly loves this spot and it’s starting to saga or either fall over when we let it lean up against the wall. We are watering her semi regularly, once a week or whenever the soil is dry. She gets a good amount of indirect natural light as faces a double door where the sun rises and sets each day.

So, hate to be that person but point of clarification: this is a raphidophora tetrasperma, aka “mini monstera.” The ONLY reason I bring it up is that it has a slightly different growth habit, water needs, and lifespan from what it is commonly confused with, a monstera deliciosa.

That said, she looks stoked. They’re climbers, obvi. You might consider installing some furring strips in an artistic pattern so that she has something to dig her roots into. Some people like moss poles or wall-mounted moss strips but I find them to be messy and hard to keep moist.
