I purchased my first Alocasia in June (Alocasia Wentii) and I think I’m up to 10 now? At first I didn’t think much of them, but as I did more research into Alocasias and how to care for them, I started coming across different varieties. And then I found a Pink Dragon at Target, and that was the tipping point 🙈 Now it seems like every time I purchase one, I discover a different one that looks unreal. I feel lucky that my local Home Depot and Target carry some cool alocasias, as well as some local nurseries and the occasional plant/orchid festival; I got the Wentii, Silver Dragon, and Platinum from Home Depot; the Pink dragon, Melo, and Black Velvet were found at Target; the Maharani is from a local nursery; and then the Frydek, Jacklyn, and Dragon scale were found at an International Orchid Festival. At this point I’m kinda just learning on the fly, but I will admit it’s a cool hobby and I definitely get the hype now. I attached some pics of my collection. Sorry about all the leaves, we just had some crazy weather and I think it’s time to invest in a leaf blower. Enjoy!

I don’t go to any stores that have any kind of nursery without looking for finds like a pink dragon or the like. I am afflicted!
Really nice collection. I have a Morocco (the one you call Pink Dragon), but it looks nowhere near as healthy as yours. I’m growing more, though.
