Tong Garden Centre, located on Tong Lane, has revealed it will be running an outdoor Winter Food Market across the festive season.
The market will be situated under the centre’s outdoor canopy, where stalls will be serving a “tempting line up of festive flavours”.
It has been described by Tong Garden Centre as “the perfect festive pit stop for all the family.”
This includes loaded roasties, Christmas hot dogs, churros, Bailey’s hot chocolate and mulled wine.
When will Tong Garden Centre’s Christmas Market open?
It will be open from Wednesday to Sunday from November 12 until December 21.
Through the week, the market will run from 12pm until 8pm, while on Saturday it opens between 9am and 5.30pm and then 10am until 4pm on Sunday.
There will also be late-night openings on selected evenings.

What to expect at the Tong Christmas market
Live entertainment will feature every Thursday and Friday from 4.30pm, when singers will “serenade you with Christmas favourites to get you feeling festive.”
A post on Tong Garden Centre’s Facebook page teased people with this introduction: “Something delicious is coming to Tong this Christmas…”
It added: “Opens 12th November and brand new for 2025 at Tong Garden Centre, the Winter Food Market is the place to meet, eat and enjoy the festive atmosphere.”
Hundreds of people responded with glee at the news shared in the Facebook post, with more than 300 comments in total at the time of writing.
Most commenters have tagged their partners, friends and family – suggesting a visit to the new Christmas market once it is up and running.
What else is on offer at Tong Garden Centre this Christmas
Tong Garden Centre has a variety of other festive events and experiences on offer in the coming months.
The Classic Christmas Afternoon Tea in The Mezzanine returns this year, pairing seasonal treats with live Christmas classics from the centre’s Vintage Vocalist – dates available to book are November 19, November 26 and December 17.
“Jingle & Mingle”, a relaxed after-hours event to get people Christmas-ready, takes place next Thursday, while spaces are selling fast for the traditional Santa’s Grotto experience.
An opening date is yet to be confirmed for the centre’s Virtual Reality Sleigh Ride.
Tong Garden Centre is part of the Yorkshire Garden Centres Group.
The company has headquarters in Bradford and also runs Tingley, Bingley, Otley and Pennine Garden Centres in West Yorkshire, as well as Dean’s Garden Centre in both York and Scarborough.
