Based on this Website image we purchased 2 Virginia Creeper plants , not knowing that they shed their in winter and only look like this for a few weeks and spend the winter looking dead .

Am i right in assuming that there are 2-3 differnt ivy in this picture , evergreens with the Virginia Creeper mixed in ?

    Yes,it looks that way.
    They are pretty briefly.Boston Ivy tends to grip better than v.creeper particularly on exposed walls.
    Once either gets to the full front of house coverage stage-its a regular chore keeping them away from windows/sills/ top of wall area.

    Isn’t ivy meant to be a problem for brickwork? I’d heard so when I was tempted to try something like this!
