One of the nation’s oldest horticultural gardens celebrates the changing seasons with Night Lights. The annual garden lighting began in 1997 and instantly became a hit—continuing for decades as a wintertime tradition in Massachusetts.

The 200-acre garden dresses the indoor and outdoor spaces in over 500,000 lights! The landscapes come alive!

The festive ambiance includes fun seasonal activations like s’mores roasting, seasonal drinks, a model train, holiday shopping, and photo opportunities for the whole family. TravelAwaits named New England Botanic Garden the “Top Botanic Garden in the U.S.”

Night Lights is pure magic,” says New England Botanic Garden CEO Grace Elton. “We illuminate the darkest months of the year with dazzling displays that celebrate nature in winter and inspire a sense of joy in togetherness.”

Last year, 70,000 visitors from across the globe made their way to Boylston’s New England Botanic Garden at Tower Hill for Night Lights. This year, Night Lights returns November 22 and runs daily through January 4. The property is closed on Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and New Year’s Day.

Tickets are required for entry. Non-member adult tickets are $25 while member tickets are $18.75. The dazzling show is just under one hour from Boston. Find it at 11 French Drive in Boylston, Massachusetts.
