If you don’t plant the carrots in the ground soon, you’ll miss the planting season. Use this method to grow carrots, and they’ll be big, sweet, and delicious. Carrots thrive in loose, fertile soil and are best grown in ridges. Therefore, apply plenty of base fertilizer first. Then, create ridges 20 to 30 cm high. Make shallow furrows on top of the ridges. Water them thoroughly. Mix the seeds with sand and spread them evenly in the furrows. Cover the seeds with a thin layer of soil no more than one cm thick. Water thoroughly at the end. Ensures the carrot seeds germinate quickly and uniformly. When the carrots grow three to five leaves, thin the seedlings to keep a spacing of about 5 cm between each plant.
