The garlic I planted on October 3rd has started to grow.
Since I peeled the cloves before planting, the sprouts appeared fairly quickly.
They germinated about 10 days after planting.
Most of the plants now have two to three true leaves.
Unfortunately, the elephant garlic hasn’t sprouted yet.
Maybe the larger cloves take longer to germinate?

I did elephant garlic this year as they are more resistant to rust. I’m in the other hemisphere but mine came up as quickly as my normal garlic did. Hopefully they’ll sprout for you soon!
