It looks beautiful but I think you could’ve gotten away with ripening it just a bit longer on the branch too. Usually the roundness of the fruit will give way to a more hexagonal-like shape, or at the least something with more emphasized corners where you can see how the fruit segments itself. You can also leave it until it starts to crack ever so slightly or is about to. The benefit of letting it sit longer for me is that the inner seed seems to soften more, the seed color deepens, and so does the sweetness and flavor of the fruit.
