Hi hoya lovers
I got a haul of (small) hoya cuttings and they are on perlite. I did a check today and one is rooting at various points. I never done this before so I am unsure how to proceed. It is going back in the box for a little while longer.
When potting it up which should I do?
-
lay it horizontally on the substrate to root down?
-
stand it upright with the lower node in the substrate and ignore the higher aerial roots?
-
cut it into two?
Thank you for any advice

I would take off the bottom leaf and partially bury that node with the root. The rest of the cutting will lay flat on your substrate to allow the other roots maximal contact
You can plant it on the side. One baby plant I bought was planted that way and has been growing just fine.
