I have these 2 terrariums, they were given to me as gifts. Everywhere I look it says to water them every 2 weeks. But I have no idea how much water I should put in. What would you suggest. Thank you
It will depend on a couple things! First, it looks like you have open terrariums (ie neither one has a lid) so they will need more water compared to closed terrariums. Second, it matters what the plants are! I can see the one on the right is some kind of tradescantia, I’m not sure about the left offhand, and it looks like there’s a second kind of plant in the bottom? Third, how much sunlight do they get – what direction does your window face, how far is it from the window, do you use any grow lights, etc.? This information will help others give you more accurate recommendations!

Water the tradescantia a little whenever you see the soil dry out. The soleriola on the left however should have constantly moist but not wet or damp soil. Over time you’ll get the hang of it. There is no set amount or frequency as there are too many factors to consider.
