This leaf came off a cooperi about 4 months ago I think. I read about propagating these and that it rarely if ever works for haws unless there’s stem tissue attached so I wasn’t expecting anything. TBH I just dumped it on top of a few mm of dry soil in a dish and forgot about it! I just rediscovered her and found a little something growing. The tiny bit poking out I tried to get in the video was actually facing down in the soil so not sure if I should put it back the same way, or should I introduce water? Not sure that’ll help until there’s an actual root, unless that nub is the beginning of a root? Any suggestions?! Or just put it back for a few more mths?!

i would leave it alone, maybe so that the pup is on the upside. it will get nutrients and water from the motherleaf until it shrivels up.
