The Lich Crystal is a limited-time item in Grow a Garden required for summoning the Lich. It was added as part of the Ghoul Garden Part 3 update on October 25, 2025. How to Get a Lich Crystal in Grow a Garden
Since the Lich Crystal item is a limited-time one, it’s exclusive to the Ghostly Gadgets shop. This is part of the Halloween Market that appears once per hour, for 15 minutes each time. Once the Ghoul Garden event ends, you will likely no longer be able to get the Lich Crystal.
You’ll need either 60 Candy Corn to buy it or 499 Robux, which of course costs real money. It’s important to mention that you’ll need other items too for summoning a Lich. So if you plan on spending Robux, it can quickly get expensive, which is why we always recommend using in-game currencies instead.

As previously mentioned, the Lich Crystal is part of the summoning ritual to get the Lich pet. It’s almost surprising that the developers have made it such an involved process for what seems like an okay pet at best. While it can increase the variant chance and size of plants, it only does this for Spooky-type plants. Which is kind of limiting.
Regardless, once you have a Lich Crystal, you can use it in your garden to get hints for the ritual. In order to summon the Lich pet, you’ll need to get a few pets and a couple of specific cosmetics. Since these all revolve around the Ghoul Garden event, you’ll have a limited amount of time to get them. And it’s important to note that you’ll lose the pets you use for this ritual.
The pets and cosmetics you’ll need to summon a Lich are included in the spoiler tag below:
Show Spoilers Bat – 45% to appear from a Spooky Egg. You can get these from the Halloween Market shop, Creepy Critters. As well as some other Ghoul Garden activities. Crow – 8.14% chance as a Digging Reward, from the Grave Digging activity. Scarab – 34.5% chance from a Spooky Chest, from Spooky Seeds in the Halloween Market. Spell Book – Legendary cosmetic that you can get from the Halloween Market shop, Devilish Decor. 2 Halloween Candles – Rare cosmetic that has a 15% chance of appearing from a Spooky Crate. A Spooky Crate costs 20 Candy Corn from the Halloween Market shop, Devilish Decor.
Once you have all the pets and cosmetics from the spoiler above, place them in your garden. Using the Lich Crystal will reveal each riddle clue for anything that you may be missing. If you have everything in your garden, the crystal will allegedly then give you a confirmation window asking if you’re okay with merging your pets to get the Lich.
As a reminder, this will get rid of the three pets required for summoning a Lich. Once you’ve completed the ritual, you’ll have a Lich pet. This Divine pet increases the variant chance, growth speed, and size of nearby Spooky-type plants. It also gives Halloween-type pets additional XP per second.
