Super weird but I had moved into this house about a year ago and we have clusias in the backyard covering the fence. I noticed there was a weird looking plant growing in between two of the clusias but never thought anything more of it. Well I finally noticed it got big and wanted to check out what it looked like and I believe this is a fiddle leaf fig. It was a very weird thing to see since it wasn’t planted there plus I believe they are not native to Florida. I believe somehow a seed got dispersed from some animal. Although it is a super cool find!

Definitely a beautiful volunteer outdoor FLF! Are you planning on leaving it? It looks happy but I know it will be an actual tree for you some day in FL

I have a common fig tree that randomly started growing in my backyard.
