I’d love to know too. I have the exact same issue – I try to pull them out by hand but it is hard to get the roots

It will be hard to give a 100% id without some seed heads, but brome has been a common feature lately, and seems to fit the bill. So possibly Bromus catharticus.
If so it will start producing seed heads soon, then die in the summer.
You’ll want to use a pre emergent next late summer to help stop it coming back next year.
