1. Virginia creeper doing its fall color display on top of my solidago rugosa ‘fireworks’
  2. Lonicera sempervirens ‘major wheeler’ putting on a display of berries in yellows, oranges, and reds!
  3. A lone Monarda punctata not knowing it’s fall 😂
  4. Helianthus angustifolius always performing this time of year
  5. What’s left of my beauty berry’s berries. Last year, the birds picked it clean in ONE day. This year my kids have been making “food” with them. Surprised there are some left haha
  6. What’s left of my asclepias tuberosa seed pods. They were much more prolific than my swamp milkweed this year.
  7. Dogfennel flowers starting to wane
  8. A branch on my wax Myrtle died, but produced berries first to give me this stunning pop of color
  9. I rescued an aster (I think Symphyotrichum lanceolatum) in spring and nursed it back to health in a pot. I did that because the bunnies eat every. Single. Aster. I try to grow. Only for me to forget to water it right before it flowers… got one measly flower out of it. Its roots are still very healthy and it’s growing back with a vengeance!
  10. My lowes impulse buy… aster novi-belgii ‘Henry III’. Just love the color. Looks much better than mums IMO

The more oriental bittersweet I remove, the more Virginia Creeper I get. Love it.
