hey y’all! i recently bought a pink variegated black velvet alocasia. she was beautiful for a week! i didn’t want to repot because she is still pretty young. However, her leaves started turning yellow. i chopped one off, and told myself it was fine. then i noticed her other leaves turning yellow, when i pulled her out of the pot all of her roots just fell off. I put her in some water with hydrogen peroxide and let her sit, then callus over. Right now she is currently in water with a bit of hydrogen peroxide. i just wanted to ask if this is the right way to get her some new healthy roots. thanks 🙂

Is her corm still attached? im guessing it prob came w root rot esp if it wasnt wet wet. this is why i always check my alocasia when they arrive as well as corm firmness.
