I got these plants about three weeks now. I’m new to air plant. I think they look alive and healthy to me, except picture 3 and 5. I don’t see any changes of the plant in the last three weeks. I’m not sure if they are happy with their living conditions. Am I supposed to see growing in 3 weeks?

They look healthy to me. Air plants are slow growers in general. If the leaf tips start getting crispy then they need water more frequently. Make sure that you are drying out your air plants upside down to prevent rot, and they need to dry out within 4 hours. I use a small desk fan to help mine dry off.

Edit: airplants typically produce pups (baby air plants) after flowering. It can take weeks before a pup even shows up, so don’t despair if you don’t see pups right away.

And I think that it can take 1-3 years for baby air plants to reach their full mature size. Baby airplants can be separated from the parent plant if you want, but make sure that they are at least 1/3 the size of the parent plant before doing so. Sorry that I went off on a tangent 😅.

  2. Do you know what kind of air plant the one in pic 3 is?
