I received my first orchid with bottom watering instructions on the care tag in February. This unlocked a fascination with orchids and led me on a journey of learning more about their care, thanks in large part to this sub. I’ve recently celebrated my first re-bloom (of the original Feb orchid) and have a few with first-time spikes (SO exciting). From one to 23…and many more to come!

Gorgeous! Are you going to branch out to different ones or only Phals ?

These are gorgeous! How long do you soak them like that for?

Beautiful plants and flowers 👍, you do it right with the dipping of your orchids, instead of watering. What bothers me a bit are the planters. The aerial roots of an orchid need light, air, moisture, so you use transparent pots. Also as a visual control of the aerial roots, whether they rot. In nature, Phalaenopsis grows on the bark of the tree and the aerial roots hold the orchid.
