I bought an electric wood chipper and tried it out today. It makes really thin shavings. Honestly for a cheap unit it tore through almost everything I had. Sticks, branches, thick flower stalks. Are these shavings small enough?
You can run other stuff through there too; melon rinds, old pumpkins, corn stocks/cobs, ~~Steve Buscemi,~~ acorns, etc.

It looks great for compost. The smaller chips are perfect. You’ve got a lot of green matter in there too, so it will probably start cooking within a day or two.

I tried composting mulch and after 4 months i didn’t notice much of a difference. So i ran over it with the lawnmower. It broke it down beautifully.
