I have heard that once the roots have roots it’s alright to put the plant in soil, but wanted to get opinions too. I’m also wondering if I should invest in a sun lamp for the winter as I live in a fairly overcast part of the USA during winters.
One more thing to note is that I’ve been changing the water in each vase about once a week.

Once the roots are a couple inches long and look strong, you can move them to soil. I’d say you’re pretty close! A grow light would definitely help if it gets gloomy where you are

Gently rinse those roots off, they should not look that fuzzy.

Rule of green thumb, when there’s secondary roots, it’s fine to pot up.
