Better Call Saul is the prequel to the award-winning series Breaking Bad, set six years before Saul Goodman (Bob Odenkirk) became Walter White’s lawyer. When we meet him, the man who will become Saul Goodman is known as Jimmy McGill, a small-time lawyer searching for his destiny, and, more immediately, hustling to make ends meet. Working alongside, and often against, Jimmy is “fixer” Mike Erhmantraut (Jonathan Banks), a beloved character introduced in Breaking Bad. The series will track Jimmy’s transformation into Saul Goodman, the man who puts “criminal” in “criminal lawyer.”

  1. Nothing happens in this scene. It's just men discussing security and plannings that is so fun an satisying to watch

  2. Looking at this scene and the breaking bad scene where Mike is struggling to deal with Jessie and his apathy I’d say Mike did learn from this mistake. He know he needed to keep these men alive and keep them functioning and not go stir crazy. It’s just with this first group he forgot about living a human life which included a going out side and interacting with people outside of the job.

  3. And just think…Walt could have made enough money in two years to keep his family, their kids, their kids, their kids and then their kids from having to work. Ego ruins people.

  4. 1:24 i love Gus face here, he isn't frustrated or angry, but you can see this was a clear oversight on his part, as a high functioning psychopath of course he would've miss distractions for the workers. He sees this, rethinks and accepts Michael proposing.

  5. Treadmills. U are gonna wanna check whole sale providers these guys are gonna tear right thru consumer grade. Funny i was thinking the same exact thing

  6. I'm surprised Mike didn't suggest they prepare weekly pre-approved, supervised off-site visits. The amenities are good and necessary but they're still living inside a warehouse for almost a year. I'm sure Gus could've rented out a beach for an afternoon, or organized supervised hikes in remote locations, rent a boat for an afternoon etc. Also they could've done the same thing for family visits, prepared a supervised location for Werner to see his wife etc. They could've done all of that without revealing the location of the site to anybody

  7. Could have given them private rooms, with those buildings it’s not that much more expensive

  8. I like how Mike tries to preface that they need cameras inside but to keep in low profile. Meanwhile in the lab in BB, they installed a camera right in Walter’s face lmao

  9. This whole "village" (2 mobile homes = a village?) in a warehouse is so stupid of a concept
It reeks of "this is what we had the budget to do"

  10. You know, staying here like in a house inside a warehouse… Would be absolutely badass to me. Just because of the whole liminal aspect.
