TURNING betelnut skin rubbish to soil mulch, owner of the Seed Supplier micro-business and agriculturalist Geno Geno was announced the overall winner of the Lily homemade competition last Friday, at Moore printing in Port Moresby.
Ms Geno started her micro-business back in 2020 selling only plant seeds. While studying in Japan she applied for the homemade competition with her innovation of reducing betelnut (buai) skin rubbish turning it into betelnut husk mulch or the Areca Fibre mulch.
