We planted the swiss chard in early August (8/10) and it was probably ready for harvest the week of 10/10, but due to travels I left them in the soil a little longer. Next year I’ll definitely start a little earlier and use a wider container bag. I may even do a raised bed instead of the containers. Thus far, I’ve harvested snap beans, lettuce (twice) and now Swiss chard. I have cucumbers and carrots remaining, but I think the carrots will remain in the soil until next year. For the cucumbers, it’s a getting a little cold but I think I’ll be able to harvest them soon. Hoping to plant more next spring! It’s been such a wonderful experience 🥰
