I couldn’t stand looking at them anymore. We ripped them out. The fox gloves were looking really tired, so we decided to rip them out and start planting our mahogany Splenders hibiscus. Mahogany Splenders hibiscus are one of our favorite foliage plants that we grow in the back of our container garden all summer and fall. They have a gorgeous Japanese maple leaf that make a great addition to our container garden. I know they’re a little small now, but they will fill in very quickly. We started moving a ton of our lizanths in front of them as well. that will be blooming towards the end of May. And I cannot wait for those to bloom. In the meantime, we have lots of patunias, even dalia that are blooming in our container garden. Look at these. This is called Miss Mandy. Look how gorgeous that color is. And then the one behind her is called Karma by color bronze. I’m so sorry, Mr. Dalia. I need to stink you up just a little bit. It’s always hard to see spring flowers go, but there are so many summer things that we’re planting up now like cooxcombs, zenas, gumprina, angelonas, lots of angelonas, and I cannot wait to show you

I’m going to try the mahogany splendor hibiscus in a pot and see how it does this spring and summer. Thanks! 🤗
I can't wait to see your summer garden. Your spring garden was so magnificent and inspiring.
I love your container garden, would be nice to know; how many hours of sun your plants get?
Look into Australian paper flowers they have a beautiful dessert vibe and super drought and heat resistant ❤❤❤
I cant believe you ripped out those foxgloves. You could always replant them.
