Harvesting Homegrown Goodness | Backyard Garden Vlog 🍆🍅🌿
Come along as we harvest from our small backyard garden — eggplants, long beans, green beans, apples, squash, tomatoes, and figs! All of these were grown with love, patience, and a little bit of trial and error.
What You’ll See in This Video:
How I assess ripeness (for grapes, squashes, figs, etc.)
My harvesting techniques and tools
A peek at what I’ll do with today’s haul (linked to cooking videos)
Bonus Tip:
Always pick in the early morning or later in the evening when it’s cooler — it helps produce stay crisp and stores better. These were picked in the morning in August 2025
If you’re growing your own veggies or fruits (or thinking of starting), I hope this inspires you 🌱
