Looking for an identification at the time of pear. I work as a senior caregiver at a facility that has this pear tree in the court yard. When i first got here i was told the fruit was poisonous, thinking it was a bradford pear tree. But now the fruit are falling and look like this. We live in the PNW, It is also a courtyard that's been planted so location probably doesn't matter too much. I would imagine they wouldn't put anything poisonous but just say so?

Looks like Conference Pears to me.
For what it’s worth, Bradford pears aren’t toxic they’re just foul
Why would you think that, lol?
They dont want people eating fruit off their property as it could become a lawsuit party. And old folks are a lot like young children. You tell them things are bad and poisonous, they’ll likely believe it and stay away from it
It’s worth noting that the pear tree could be treated with systemic insecticides meant only for ornamental use, in which case the pears could be poisonous. I wouldn’t want to eat imidacloprid pears, personally.
